Business Systems Leadership Role

This is a challenging leadership opportunity for an experienced professional to drive the development, implementation and management of business information systems in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Investigate existing business systems to identify opportunities for improvement and implement solutions that streamline processes and digitalise information.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of the program's goals, strategy and end-to-end processes, including the flow-on impacts and implications of changes to existing systems.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to monitor the information systems portfolio and proactively address risks and issues.
  • Work closely with technical partners to leverage ICT technical capacity and capability to develop, maintain and support the program's information systems.
  • Manage the program's information systems and associated projects in accordance with departmental standards, protocols and governance processes.
  • Provide expert advice to senior stakeholders on the impacts and risks of proposed changes to the program's systems portfolio.
  • Assist the program's business areas in scoping and setting business information systems priorities for enhancements or new initiatives.
  • Provide direction and mentoring to a team of professionals to optimise delivery of information systems to all areas of the program.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in leading the development, implementation and management of business information systems.
  • Strong understanding of business process improvement principles and methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
