Food and Beverage Attendant

The Tasman Hotel is seeking a part-time Food and Beverage Attendant to join our team in Hobart, Tasmania. As a Food and Beverage Attendant, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring that guests have a memorable dining experience.

Job Description:

As a Food and Beverage Attendant, you will work in our signature restaurant, Peppina, serving food and beverages to guests while maintaining a high level of cleanliness and organization. You will work closely with the hospitality team to ensure that all guests have a warm and welcoming experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver exceptional customer service by greeting guests, taking orders, and serving food and beverages in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to health and safety standards.
  • Work collaboratively with the hospitality team to ensure seamless delivery of food and beverages.
  • Provide information on menu items, promotions, and events to guests.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful as a Food and Beverage Attendant, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • 2 years' experience working in a similar role in a hospitality environment.
  • Genuine interest and knowledge of beer, wine, cocktails, and all things food.
  • Strong work ethic and exceptional customer service skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
  • Valid Responsible Service of Alcohol Certificate.
  • Full working rights in Australia.
