About the Role:

We're looking for a highly skilled Solar Farm Project Coordinator to oversee the successful completion of large-scale solar farm projects. Based in Melbourne, you'll manage projects from start to finish, ensuring timely delivery, within budget, and to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage solar farm construction projects, ensuring they meet project milestones and client expectations.
  • Coordinate with internal teams, contractors, and suppliers to ensure seamless collaboration and effective communication.
  • Develop and track project schedules, budgets, and resources to optimize efficiency and productivity.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory requirements, maintaining a safe working environment for all personnel.
  • Communicate project updates to senior management and stakeholders, providing regular progress reports and key performance indicators.
  • Visit project sites as needed to monitor progress, address any issues, and provide guidance to site staff.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • Experience working on large-scale solar projects, with a strong understanding of solar systems and construction processes.
  • Proven ability to manage budgets, schedules, and project teams, with excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in project management software, such as MS Project, Procore, or Primavera.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with clients, contractors, and team members.
Preferred Qualifications:

In addition to the above requirements, we'd love to see:

  • A degree in Electrical Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience as an Electrician.
  • PMP certification or similar project management qualifications.
  • Experience with utility-scale solar projects, with a strong understanding of the technical and commercial aspects.
