We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mechanic to join our dynamic team of technicians in the Fleet Services Branch of the Asset and Infrastructure Services Department.
Key Responsibilities- Diagnose, repair, and service all mechanical assets within the fleet to ensure optimal performance and safety.
- Contribute to a safe and efficient workshop environment by adhering to best practices and maintaining a high level of professionalism.
- Collaborate with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives, promoting a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
- A competitive salary of $40 per hour, plus superannuation of up to 12.5%.
- A 9-day fortnight, with every second weekend off.
- Four weeks of annual leave, with 17.5% loading.
- A modern and well-equipped workshop, with uniforms and PPE provided.
- Monday to Friday hours, with day and afternoon shifts available.
- Opportunities for ongoing learning and development, with a focus on career growth and industry trends.
- A Mechanical Trade qualification and experience in the relevant vehicle class.
- A current Drivers Licence applicable to your trade qualification, minimum C class.
- A White Construction card or ability to obtain.
- An excellent fit with our values of communication, collaboration, integrity, efficiency, and leadership.
