Job Overview

We are seeking a visionary leader to spearhead the digital transformation of our distribution and underwriting processes. As a strategic partner, you will provide innovative solutions for technology uplift and business growth through electronic channels.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement cutting-edge technology visions and strategies that drive business outcomes and capability uplift for our business partners and brokers.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design modern technology platforms and digital solutions for underwriters and broker partners.
  • Lead the delivery of high-impact underwriting and digital assets using agile methodology, ensuring timely completion and adherence to governance controls.
  • Prioritize initiatives aligned with technology and digital strategy backlogs.
  • Drive innovation by developing and sharing insights from internal and external networks and environmental scans.
  • Cultivate knowledge sharing across QBE's global network.

About You

To succeed in this role, you will have:

  • Extensive experience in insurance product distribution, particularly with general insurance brokers transacting electronically with insurers.
  • A deep understanding of negotiated products lines/commercial insurance product underwriting processes and operating models.
  • Experience in API orchestration platforms and solutions.
  • A proven track record in leading agile delivery value streams and squads.
  • Knowledge of DevOps ways of working model and methodology.
  • Exceptional strategy development, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong leadership, relationship management, and communications skills.
  • Understanding of technology platform data architectures.
