**Automatic Door Service Technician Role**

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced technician to join our team as an Automatic Door Service Technician.

This is a permanent full-time role, with opportunities for professional growth and development in a dynamic and supportive work environment.

The successful applicant will have excellent technical skills, with the ability to install, commission and service automatic door operators.

Duties will include assembling automatic door operators and related components, reading and analysing wiring diagrams and related specifications, using test equipment to test continuity and diagnose electrical faults, installing new and replacing faulty wiring to sensors & switches, maintaining and repairing Automatic Doors, Roller Doors, Gates, recommending any changes and improvements, advising customers of correct use of our operators and recommending any upgrades, carrying out and generally assisting in various work that is expected of a service technician, being available for overtime work on request and scheduled after hours work, maintaining a clean and tidy vehicle and managing your tools and stock as per the list provided.

While training will be provided, technicians with experience in similar or the same field would be best suited for this role.

The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude, excellent communication skills, exceptional customer service skills, pride in appearance and workmanship, outstanding fault finding abilities, good attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
