Job Title: Purchase and Inventory Specialist

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as a Purchase and Inventory Specialist. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate receipt, storage, and maintenance of inventory levels.

  • Key Responsibilities:
    • Receive and inspect merchandise to ensure quality and accuracy
    • Maintain accurate records of inventory levels and manage stockroom organization
    • Collaborate with supervisors to determine inventory needs and priorities
    • Perform daily tasks such as spotting for forklift drivers, following inventory standards, and aligning product
  • Additional Responsibilities:
    • Use manual pallet jack to move and position pallets of merchandise
    • Stack product from partial pallets to full pallets and cut boxes for display/accessibility
    • Wrap or tie and tag pallets to be returned to steel and mark product number on unmarked items
    • Set up display models, assemble as necessary, and modify displays for safe handling
  • Member Service:
    • Provide prompt and courteous service to customers
    • Help customers load large items into their cart, direct customers to products, and relate product status knowledge
  • Other Tasks:
    • Assist with front end duties as necessary
    • Assist other areas in the department as necessary
    • Assist in other departments of the warehouse as necessary

Requirements:

  • Fulfill all safety and security procedures
  • Operate cardboard baler and trash compactor
  • Rewrap loose product using shrink-wrap machine
