Transmission Line Training Specialist

The evolving energy sector demands innovation and transformation. As a Transmission Line Training Specialist, you will oversee training for our Transmission Lines workforce, ensuring programs are compliant with national standards, technically accurate, and aligned with industry needs.

A Day in the Life at Our Organization
  • Design and implement training pathways for lines apprentices and technicians.
  • Ensure compliance with national training requirements (Cert III ESI).
  • Maintain training calendars, content, and audit readiness.
  • Build strong relationships with industry to align training with emerging practices.
  • Support succession planning by building a capable, future-ready workforce.
About You
  • You bring extensive experience in transmission line construction and maintenance, along with a strong interest in developing others.
  • You understand the technical and safety demands of the role, and you know how to translate them into structured, practical training.
  • You will bring:
    • Extensive experience in transmission line work in the electricity sector.
    • Certificate III ESI – Transmission Overhead and Certificate IV TAE.
    • Demonstrated experience in program design and delivery.
    • Strong stakeholder engagement and industry partnerships.
