Senior Aged Care Operations Manager

A unique opportunity for an experienced leader to oversee the daily operations of a residential aged care facility in Melbourne's eastern suburbs.

About the Role:
  • Lead a team of professionals and take responsibility for the overall management of the facility, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve resident care, staff engagement, and operational efficiency.
  • Work collaboratively with key stakeholders to deliver high-quality services and achieve business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operational Management: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the facility, including staffing, budgeting, and resource allocation.
  • Leadership and Development: Provide guidance and support to team members, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Quality Assurance: Develop and implement quality systems to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Strategic Planning: Contribute to the development of business strategies and plans, aligning with organizational goals and objectives.

Requirements:

  • Qualifications: Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration and qualifications in healthcare, management, or finance.
  • Experience: Proven experience in managing an aged care facility, with strong leadership and operational skills.
  • Skills: Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
