Job Title: Project Manager - Mechanical Fit Out

We are seeking a highly experienced HVAC project manager to oversee and manage all aspects of HVAC projects within the building and construction industry. As a senior-level professional, you will lead a team of professionals, ensure project timelines and budgets are met, and deliver high-quality results to clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage day-to-day operations of multiple HVAC projects, coordinating with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure timely and efficient project delivery.
  • Develop and implement detailed project plans, managing budgets, resources, and timelines to meet project objectives.
  • Identify and mitigate risks, issues, and challenges that may impact project delivery, and implement effective strategies to address them.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant safety, environmental, and quality standards throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Foster strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and other stakeholders, providing regular updates and managing expectations.
  • Lead and mentor junior project managers, providing guidance and support to develop their skills and capabilities.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of our project management processes and procedures.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Minimum 5 years of demonstrated experience as a Project Manager in the HVAC industry.
  • Proven track record of successfully delivering complex HVAC projects, with a strong understanding of construction methods, technologies, and industry best practices.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships.
  • Proficient in the use of project management software and tools, with a keen eye for detail and strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Tertiary qualification in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Membership or accreditation with a professional industry body (e.g., AIRAH, HVAC&R Society).
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and mentor junior team members.
