We are seeking an experienced Nurse Manager to join our team at the Women's & Children's Health Network (WCHN) in Paediatric Medicine.
About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to lead a dynamic team and contribute to providing best-practice healthcare for women, babies, children, and young people across South Australia.
- Salary: $121,537 - $126,970 per annum + superannuation
- Classification: Registered Nurse/Midwife LV 3
- Full-time permanent position
In this role, you will be responsible for strategic project management, providing specialist advice on risk, safety, and quality, and collaborating with Divisional staff to develop a continuous improvement framework.
You will also have the opportunity to:
- Undertake independent duties to establish regional policies, procedures, and projects related to the Division
- Collaborate with the Safety and Quality Unit (SQU) to enhance service delivery and patient outcomes
- Develop and maintain positive working relationships within the organization and with external entities
- Accept responsibility for nursing management practices and contribute to a safe, positive work culture
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- Registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia
- At least 3 years post-registration experience as a Registered Nurse/Midwife
- Demonstrated competence in relevant area of nursing/midwifery practice
- Effective leadership skills, including communication, problem-solving, conflict resolution, and negotiation
- Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team
- Ability to prioritize workload and meet timelines
- Demonstrated ability to lead and promote consumer engagement initiatives
