Project Coordinator

As a key member of our Project Management Technical Capability Team, you will play a vital role in delivering Defence projects. Your administrative expertise and project coordination skills will ensure the success of our initiatives.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure accurate financial reporting, correct approvals, and clear documentation for monthly project reviews.
  • Partner with operational units to maintain compliance expectations.
  • Develop and administer our Project Management Capability SharePoint site.
  • Establish and maintain our Business Management System.
  • Support delivery of the PM Capability Change Management Plan and assist with team priorities.
  • Identify opportunities to improve project outcomes across units.
  • Manage documentation, version control, and Defence-standard filing.
  • Coordinate meetings, workshops, and reviews from agendas to action tracking.
  • Prepare briefs, status updates, and dashboards to inform stakeholders.
  • Monitor registers for risks, issues, actions, and decisions.
  • Assist project managers with planning and scheduling.
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders for smooth communication.
  • Support Project Management Capability Enablement across KBR Australia Defence & Security Solutions.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Baseline security clearance or ability to obtain.
  • Previous Defence experience preferred but not essential.
  • Understanding of Defence project lifecycles and governance frameworks.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong SharePoint skills.
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
