As a Care Worker, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Providing social support to clients through activities such as outings, shopping, and companionship
  • Assisting with transportation, meal preparation, and other domestic tasks
  • Delivering respite care, including exercising, dressing, toileting, and supervising medication administration
  • Providing personal care, such as showering and assisting with grooming
  • Testing blood sugar, observing skin integrity, and supervising medication dosage and administration

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A Certificate III in Individual Support (or equivalent) or relevant qualification
  • Experience in aged care, disability, or community nursing is highly regarded
  • The right to work in Australia
  • A current driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle
  • National Police Clearance or willingness to obtain
  • Proof of Covid Vaccination
