We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team. As a Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to our clients, enabling them to live independently and maintain their dignity.
- Your key responsibilities will include:
- Providing Personal Care: Assisting with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and using the toilet.
- Support with Daily Tasks: Assisting with household chores, meal preparation, and grocery shopping.
- Accompanying Clients: Accompanying clients on outings and providing social support.
- Assistance with Medication: Administering medication and recording doses.
In this role, you will work in partnership with our clients, their families, and other healthcare professionals to provide person-centered care. You will also have opportunities to develop your skills and knowledge through regular training and professional development programs.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A current First Aid Certificate (HLTAID003/4)
- Current CPR certificate (HLTAID001)
- National Police Clearance or willingness to obtain
- Proof of Covid Vaccination
- The right to work in Australia
Experience working in aged, disability care or domestic assistance is desirable but not required. We are committed to providing a supportive and inclusive work environment that values diversity and promotes career growth.
