Unlock Your Potential as an Actuarial Pricing Expert

A leading insurance provider is seeking a skilled Actuarial Pricing Analyst to join their team. As an Actuarial Pricing Analyst, you will be responsible for developing and implementing pricing models, working closely with senior actuaries to build and improve portfolio monitoring and analytics frameworks.

You will also assist in refining rating models and technical raters using advanced analytics and predictive modelling analyses. Additionally, you will support ongoing profitability studies and budget loss ratio by segment, aligned with local and regional product tower requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Pricing Model Development: Assist in the development and implementation of best practice pricing models, including customer behaviour models, claims modelling, and pricing scenarios.
  • Portfolio Monitoring: Work with senior actuaries to build and improve portfolio monitoring and analytics frameworks.
  • Rating Model Refinement: Support the refinement of rating models and technical raters using advanced analytics and predictive modelling analyses.
  • Profitability Studies: Assist in supporting ongoing profitability studies and budget loss ratio by segment, aligned with local and regional product tower requirements.

Requirements:

  • Actuarial Science Background: Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or other quantitative degrees.
  • General Insurance Experience: At least 2 years' general insurance experience.
  • Pricing and Modelling Experience: Demonstrated experience including pricing and modelling experience.
  • Programming Skills: Experience in programming across at least one of Python, R, and SQL.
  • Data Extraction/Manipulation: Experience with databases and proficient data extraction/manipulation skills.
