Senior Restaurant Leader Job Description

The Senior Assistant Restaurant Leader is a key position in our team, reporting directly to the Restaurant Manager. This individual embodies drive, ambition, and values of excellence and hospitality.

As a leader of product and service delivery, the Senior Assistant Restaurant Leader works closely with the Restaurant Manager to develop themselves and their team.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Ensure service and product standards meet brand guidelines.

  • Foster strong relationships with guests and create a guest-centric environment among team members.

  • Command the look and feel of the venue, maintaining thoughtful ambiance throughout.

  • Lead the team in product and venue knowledge, conducting regular training sessions for consistency.

  • Instill a positive culture throughout the team and venue, embodying values of excellence and hospitality.

Requirements:

  1. At least 3 years' experience as a manager in a high-volume restaurant environment, preferably in a corporate setting.

  2. Strong team management skills.

  3. Experience in writing and delivering training and development programs.

  4. Ability to manage wage targets and understand payroll processes.

  5. Proficiency in Seven Rooms system.

  6. Intermediate knowledge of wine, spirits, and cocktails.

  7. Australian work rights are required.
