Job Description:

The Reuse Shop Coordinator oversees daily operations at the Gregadoo Waste Management Centre (GWMC). This hands-on leadership role involves overseeing sales, driving waste diversion efforts, managing a team, and delivering customer service. The ideal candidate will play a key role in reducing landfill and giving items a second life.

This proactive leader will oversee all sales activities, manage a dynamic team, and ensure excellent customer service reflecting organisational commitment to customers.

The successful candidate will lead operational works, achieve organisational and community outcomes, plan work activities, and generate reports to management on request.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversight of sales activities and team management to deliver operational works.
  • Lead, engage, mentor, and develop team members to achieve organisational and community outcomes.
  • Coordinate work activities, including plant, materials, and contractors.
  • Operate reporting systems and generate reports to management on request.
  • Ensure onsite compliance against reporting requirements and achieve key performance indicators.
  • Maximise recyclable diversion by effectively managing collection, presentation, and sale of re-saleable materials.
  • Promote opportunities to increase diversion and sales revenue.
Essential Requirements:
  • A strong mix of qualifications, skills, and experience.
  • Class C Driver's Licence.
  • General Construction Induction Training Card.
  • National Certificates of Competency - Forklift (LF) (Desirable).
  • Demonstrated experience, skills, and knowledge relevant to the role.
