Technical Designer Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled technical designer to create drawings and 3D models for our ongoing growth.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Create various technical drawings, layouts, arrangements, assemblies, and details.
  • Use 3D modeling and detailing skills in collaboration with engineers and senior designers.
  • Determine factors such as tolerances, dimensioning, weldability, and assembly ease.
  • Develop designs aligned with company procedures, regulations, and client standards.
  • Assist with field and manufacturing issues.
  • Perform site services and engineering tasks including design reviews, risk assessments, and execution activities.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Tertiary qualifications in a related field.
  • Proficiency in 3D CAD software (Autodesk Inventor, Autocad, Professional Vault, Navisworks).
  • At least 5 years of experience in a design role or relevant field.
  • Experience in Bulk Material Handling or Heavy Industrial/Mining Industry.
  • Knowledge of Australian standards (AS4024, AS1100, AS1654, AS1657).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Full driving license.
