Job Role: Warehouse Operative

About the Job: We require a skilled warehouse operative to work in our busy production environment.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Loading and Unloading: Ensure safe loading and unloading of pallets using forklift equipment, maintaining accurate stock levels and efficient warehouse operations.
  • Pallet Wrapping and Relocation: Wrap pallets efficiently for easy transportation, relocating pallets safely around the warehouse as required.
  • Chemical Handling: Handle chemicals with care during receipt and dispatch operations.
  • General Stores Maintenance: Maintain general stores and ensure accurate stock levels.
  • Physical Requirements:
    • Fitness for Manual Handling: Be physically fit for manual handling tasks.
    • Long Period Standing: Stand for long periods of time throughout your shift.

Requirements:

  • Dangerous Goods Handling: Proven knowledge of dangerous goods handling procedures.
  • Previous Experience: Previous experience in chemical handling is essential.
  • Warehouse Operations: Experience in receipt and dispatch warehouse operations is required.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills are necessary.
  • Teamwork: Must be a team player and reliable.

Working Hours and Remuneration: Monday to Thursday 7am till 3:30pm, Friday 7am - 1:30pm. Casual start with a view to permanent for the right person, remunerated at $41.21 per hour plus super and overtime.
