About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Public Area Cleaner to join our Housekeeping team at Mantra Twin Towns Hotel & Apartments. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of our public areas, ensuring a high level of service to our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure the property's public areas are clean and well-maintained, adhering to our high standards of cleanliness and presentation.
  • Assist room attendants with room cleaning and linen removal as needed, providing support to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Operate specialized equipment and chemicals safely and efficiently, maintaining a safe working environment.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to guest inquiries and security matters, and collaborating with other departments to resolve issues.
  • Act as the eyes and ears for our maintenance and guest services teams, reporting any issues promptly, including maintenance problems, damaged equipment, and missing items.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in a similar role, such as a cleaner, room attendant, or public areas attendant, is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication skills, with a warm and welcoming style that makes both guests and team members feel at ease.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work efficiently, managing time well and taking pride in tasks.
  • Adaptability and physical fitness to work in internal and external environments, including staircases and uncovered areas.
  • Ability to collaborate with colleagues from diverse backgrounds and embrace a flexible rotating schedule, including nights, overnights, weekends, and public holidays as required.
