Job Title: Senior Portfolio Administrator

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Portfolio Administrator to join our team at FourQuarters Recruitment.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support to our portfolio management team, including corporate actions administration, client notifications, and reconciliation of cash and stock transactions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Corporate Actions Administration: Process and manage corporate actions, including dividend payments, share splits, and mergers.
  • Client Notifications: Send timely notifications to clients and advisors regarding upcoming corporate actions and other important events.
  • Cash and Stock Reconciliation: Reconcile cash and stock transactions to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Client Instructions: Process client instructions for cash payments and other transactions.
  • Audit and Review: Conduct regular audits and reviews of client instructions and transactions to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • ATO Announcements: Review and process ATO announcements and ensure correct processing of corporate action events.
  • Corporate Action Templates: Create and maintain corporate action templates using our in-house system.
  • Investigation and Resolution: Investigate and resolve any discrepancies or issues related to cash and stock transactions.
  • Quarterly and Annual Tax Reports: Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual tax reports for clients.
  • Ad-hoc Tasks: Perform other ad-hoc tasks and projects as required by the portfolio management team.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in a broker/funds management business.
  • Sound knowledge of tax matters in relation to share trading, including corporate action events.
  • Sound knowledge of share market processes and procedures.
  • Knowledge of functions and departments within a broking firm.
  • Capability with financial wealth management programs, Word, and Excel.
