The Opportunity
Our Portfolio Operations team is responsible for managing the day-to-day activities of our investment portfolios. We are seeking a Senior Portfolio Analyst to join our team and support the Overlays Investment Team in managing daily operations and ensuring all activities align with internal procedures and controls.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare instructions for portfolio investment activities, including foreign exchange requirements for passive currency overlays.
- Enhance fund performance through efficient foreign exchange position management.
- Manage operational requirements for cleared and over-the-counter derivative execution, including regulation, clearing, and collateral management.
- Analyze and report on investment manager execution using third-party total cost analysis platforms.
- Create new overlays accounts on the Aladdin platform, coordinating with internal teams.
- Review and execute give-up agreements with the legal team.
- Ensure compliance with internal procedures and control protocols.
- Contribute to projects to improve and develop the portfolio operations operating model.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in investment operations, particularly with cleared and/or bilateral derivatives.
- Experience with liquidity management and other treasury management functions within institutional funds management or custody services.
- Tertiary qualification in finance, economics, business, or IT-related disciplines.
- Postgraduate or professional qualifications are highly regarded.
