Braemar College is an independent, co-educational school for students in Years 5 to 12.

The College has two campuses, both located near Woodend, under an hour from Melbourne's CBD. You will work in a unique educational setting and teach committed students.

Position: Braemar seeks an enthusiastic teacher for our Woodend campus. The successful applicant should be passionate about Primary and/or Middle Years education. Teaching in Year 5 or Year 6 on a term replacement basis.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain high standards of learning and teaching, assessment and reporting.
  • Use data to inform differentiated practice.
  • Plan collaboratively with teaching teams.
  • Contribute to Professional Learning Teams.
  • Have excellent knowledge of contemporary approaches to literacy.
  • Teach across the Middle School.

  • Approach education with enthusiasm, focusing on developing skills and underpinning knowledge.
  • Display a data-driven approach to literacy education leading to student growth.
  • Be willing to contribute to student wellbeing.
  • Be open to flexible learning spaces and innovative curriculum approaches.
  • Be a current registered teacher.
  • Meet vaccination requirements.
