A supportive and innovative learning environment is essential for academic success. Braemar College is an independent, co-educational school catering to students in Years 5 to 12. Our two campuses are strategically located near Woodend, approximately an hour from Melbourne's CBD.

Job Overview

We are seeking a passionate educator to join our team at the Woodend campus. The ideal candidate should have a strong passion for Middle Years education. This part-time role involves teaching Mathematics and Science in the middle school levels.

We strive to create a culture of personalized learning through an integrated approach, aiming to achieve high standards of learning for all students. This position is Part Time for Term 4.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Maintain high standards of learning and teaching, assessment, and reporting.
  • Utilize data to inform differentiated practice.
  • Collaborate with teaching teams to plan effective lessons.
  • Contribute to Professional Learning Teams.
  • Demonstrate excellent knowledge of contemporary approaches to literacy.
  • Be able to teach across Middle School and specifically, Mathematics and Science.
About You:

You should possess an enthusiastic approach to educating young people, focusing on developing skills and underpinning knowledge. A data-driven approach to literacy education that leads to student growth is also expected. Additionally, you should be willing to contribute to the wellbeing of students and display innovation in curriculum and collaborative learning approaches.
