Welding Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Welding Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our workforce, you will play a vital role in delivering safe and high-quality results for our clients.

The Role: This is a hands-on position that requires strong welding and fabrication skills, as well as the ability to read and interpret technical drawings. You will be responsible for welding, fabrication, and assembly of steel components, performing structural, heavy fabrication, and repair works, and assisting with site installs, shutdowns, and maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Welding and fabrication of steel components
  • Reading and interpreting technical drawings
  • Performing structural, heavy fabrication, and repair works
  • Assisting with site installs, shutdowns, and maintenance
  • Ensuring compliance with WHS procedures and contributing to a safe work environment

About You:

  • Trade-qualified Boilermaker with relevant certificates
  • Strong welding and fabrication skills (MIG & Stick desirable)
  • Ability to read and interpret drawings accurately
  • Experience in structural/heavy fabrication and repair work
  • Current driver's license
  • High-risk licenses highly regarded
  • Reliable, safety-conscious, and a team player
  • Positive, can-do attitude with flexibility to work in both workshop and site environments
