Role Overview

This key position involves supporting data-driven project delivery for government and corporate clients. As a critical member of our Digital team, you will contribute to impactful digital transformation initiatives through intuitive, interactive and strategic data solutions.

As a Data Analyst, you'll help our clients unlock the value of their data by designing, building and optimising business intelligence reports and dashboards that enable smart decision-making. You'll work across a diverse range of digital projects and corporate applications, delivering new insights and enhancing existing systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, publish and schedule reports as per the business requirements using advanced tools like Power BI.
  • Inspect, cleanse, transform and analyse raw data to discover useful information, inform conclusions, and support effective decision-making.
  • Design and build scalable data models and enable advanced analytic capabilities that provide meaningful business value through easy-to-comprehend data visualisations.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver relevant insights based on identified business requirements.
  • Work independently through unstructured tasks and maintain high standards of analytical skills, attention to detail, interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Power BI, including data modelling, DAX and report development is essential.
  • Familiarity with modern Microsoft data platforms like Microsoft Fabric and Azure Synapse/Data Lake is desirable.
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a data-specific role (e.g., Business Intelligence, Analytics, Reporting or Data Engineering).
  • Tertiary qualification in a relevant field (e.g., Data Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems) or industry-recognised certification is required.
Desirable Skills
  • Exposure to data integration tools (e.g., Azure Data Factory, Power Platform).
  • Experience working within government, utilities or regulated environments.
  • Understanding of data governance, security models and self-service BI best practices.
  • Proficiency in SQL or scripting languages used for data preparation and automation.
  • Strong communication skills and stakeholder engagement experience, especially in cross-functional teams.
