About the Role:
We're seeking a motivated and experienced Site Manager to oversee the construction of apartment projects in the Northern Suburbs. As a Site Manager, you'll be responsible for:
- Coordinating Subcontractors and Suppliers: Manage and coordinate the activities of subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely completion of projects.
- Implementing OHS Systems: Implement and maintain the company's Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) system, including inductions and training for site personnel.
- Delivering Project Quality: Ensure that all projects are completed to the highest quality standards, meeting the client's expectations.
- Trade Coordination Meetings: Conduct and chair trade coordination meetings to ensure effective communication and collaboration among site personnel.
- Materials Handling and Planning: Plan and manage materials handling to ensure efficient use of resources and minimize waste.
- Leading the Project Team: Lead and support the project team with excellent communication and leadership skills.
About You:
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
- Trade Qualification: A trade qualification in carpentry or a related field.
- Site Management Experience: Proven experience as a Site Manager or Foreman, managing medium-rise apartment builds with basements.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills and ability to lead and motivate a team.
- Computer Skills: Proficient computer skills, including experience with Procore and 1Breadcrumb.
