Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Driller with demonstrated leadership skills to lead our team on a 2/2 roster. The ideal candidate will possess demonstrated experience, positive culture, diverse skillset, thinking, and a passion for the mining industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure all safe work practices are adhered too.
  • Maintain assets to operational capacity.
  • Constantly strive to increase process efficiency.
  • Demonstrate behavior that aligns with FMG values.
  • Comply with Zero Harm principles daily.

About this role:

The Drill Team Leader will be responsible for supervising a team of drillers and ensuring they adhere to safe work practices, meet daily operational targets, and maintain assets to operational capacity.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Ability to skilfully operate a variety of Drill Rigs including Epiroc D65, Cat MD6310.
  • Mobile equipment operation in the mining industry is essential.
  • Ability to read Drill mine plans.
  • WA Class HR Driver's Licence.
  • Communication and interpersonal skills - two-way operation.
  • Basic computer skills.
