Tyre Maintenance Specialist

Join our dynamic team as a Tyre Maintenance Specialist. As a key member of the maintenance crew, you will play a vital role in ensuring equipment is operational and ready to meet production targets.
About the Role:
You will be responsible for performing mechanical maintenance and tyre repairs on light, medium and heavy vehicles in a safe and productive manner. This includes tread depth measurements, pressure readings and inspections on all heavy earthmoving Mobile Equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and repair tyres on fleet vehicles, adhering to safety protocols and quality standards;
- Conduct regular inspections of equipment to identify potential issues and implement corrective actions;
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless shift changeovers and effective pre-start procedures;
- Document completed tasks and report any issues or concerns to supervisors;
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and productivity;
- Minimise downtime by utilising efficient shift planning techniques and troubleshooting methods.
Requirements:
- A proactive approach to safety and quality in the workplace;
- Experience in Tyre Maintenance Systems;
- OTR tyre fitting experience in the mining industry (preferred) or significant experience in light and medium vehicle tyre fitting;
- Cert 2 in Heavy Vehicle Tyre Fitting (desirable);
- RII's or equivalent competencies for Light, Heavy and Off the Road/Earthmoving vehicles.
