About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Veterinary Nurse to join our team at Vetwest Animal Hospitals.

The successful candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Job Overview

This is a Casual position, working across our 16 locations, providing support to our nursing team and assisting with a wide range of surgical and medical cases.

Responsibilities
  • Assist veterinarians and other veterinary nurses with surgery, medical procedures, and patient care.
  • Monitor patients' vital signs, administer medications, and maintain accurate records.
  • Provide exceptional client service, responding to phone enquiries, updating patient records, and making appointments.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience as a registered Veterinary Nurse, with a Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing or equivalent.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team, prioritizing tasks, and managing stress in high-pressure situations.
