About the Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity for a Senior Solution Designer to join Randstad's elite engineering and solution design team in Sydney.

You will be responsible for creating next year's data capabilities at an enterprise level with a modern mindset.

You will be accountable for end-to-end design, development, deployment, and support of your data assets, as well as creating templates and implementation methods and standards.

Please note that this role requires capabilities to design the enterprise-level solution around data science or machine learning aspects.

You will be given opportunities for ongoing professional development and free technical certifications to be highly successful and competitive in your role.

About the Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this role is $120,000 - $150,000 per annum.

This is an exceptional opportunity for someone who has significant Solution Design experience and a desire to work with modern ways of solutioning and engineering using modern technologies.

About the Requirements and Qualifications

To excel in this role, you need to have the following skill sets:

  • Experience in solution design and high-level design with an ability to lead technical design discussions, estimation, and planning.
  • Experience in implementing and leveraging data platforms including data integration tools (ETL, batch, and real-time), data warehouses, analytics, and data science as well as covering modern ways of solving problems including Machine Learning, Data Science, and Artificial Intelligence.
  • Negotiating the proposed solution design with the enterprise architects and domain solution architects.
  • Exposure and deep understanding of solution designing aspects for several data-related solutions – including SQL Server, Azure, Synapse, SPARK & SQL and modern ways of designing solutions based on machine learning and artificial intelligence including focus on data science.
  • Preferred experience in banking, finance transformation, and Institutional Banking (preferably Treasury) space.
  • Building and maturing data engineering team and optimizing delivery through training, outsourcing, recruitment, automation, etc.
