Job Overview

The Principal Data Engineer will be a key contributor to the success of our client's data initiatives, leveraging the full power of Google Cloud Platform (GCP). This role requires a deep understanding of cloud technologies, data management, and AI/ML principles.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement cutting-edge data engineering solutions on GCP, including data ingestion, processing, storage, compliance, and governance.
  • Lead the design and implementation of AI/ML Ops pipelines, including model training, deployment, monitoring, and management.
  • Build and deploy Generative AI solutions, leveraging large language models and other advanced AI technologies.
  • Work closely with clients to understand their business needs and translate them into technical solutions.

Qualifications

  • A bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Strong history of experience in data engineering, AI/ML, or a related field.
  • A comprehensive understanding of cloud computing principles and technologies, with an emphasis on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • Proficient in at least two of the following programming languages: Python, JavaScript, or Golang.
  • Familiarity with SQL, database design, querying, and data manipulation.
  • Hands-on experience with GCP data services, such as BigQuery, Dataform, Dataflow, and Cloud Storage.
  • Experience with AI/ML platforms and frameworks, such as Langchain, TensorFlow, and Vertex AI.
  • Familiarity with Generative AI concepts and technologies, such as large language models and transformers.
