Job Opportunity: Experienced Slate RoofersWe are seeking skilled slate roofers to work on Heritage Domestic Re-roofs and commercial properties in Sydney.Key responsibilities include:
  • Installation: Installing slate and metal roofing systems, measuring and cutting materials, securing with nails or adhesives, and installing ventilation systems.
  • Repair and Maintenance: Inspecting roofs for damage, replacing worn-out materials, and performing regular maintenance.
  • Safety and Compliance: Adhering to safety guidelines, using personal protective equipment, and ensuring compliance with local building codes.
  • Customer Interaction: Communicating with clients, explaining processes and costs, and providing excellent customer service.
  • Team Collaboration: Working with other team members to complete projects efficiently, assisting less experienced roofers, and reporting progress.
Preferred qualifications include certification in roofing or a related field, experience with other roofing materials, and basic carpentry skills.The job requires physical fitness, ability to lift heavy materials, and comfort working at heights. Valid work authorization for Australia is preferred.
