Job Opportunity: Senior Commercial Manager

The role of Senior Commercial Manager is pivotal in driving commercial strategy, optimising revenue opportunities, mitigating program risk and managing key contracts and stakeholder relationships.

This position involves commercial planning, financial oversight of the program, negotiating major contracts, driving program performance and ensuring profitable business growth in alignment with organisational goals.

Key responsibilities include leading the Program team, mentoring and coaching on Commercial elements, working collaboratively with stakeholders, supporting the drafting of internal and external agreements, and providing guidance and direction to the team on the delivery of contract and project work portfolios through multiple contractors.

  • Leadership and Accountability: The successful applicant will be responsible for leadership and accountability of Pre Contracts and Commercial Delivery on the Program (and others as required), acting as the initial escalation point for commercial, contract, legal, procurement, financial, risk, governance and project requirements for the Program.

Key skills and qualifications include strong communication, negotiation and leadership skills, ability to influence and build trust across multiple stakeholders and a high level of verbal and written communication skills. A tertiary/post-graduate qualification in Commercial/Contract Management or related discipline is also required.
