Job DescriptionWe seek a highly skilled Occupational Therapist to join our diverse team in Port Macquarie, NSW. In this role, you will have the autonomy to manage your caseload, working collaboratively with clients, employers, and healthcare professionals to achieve successful return-to-work outcomes.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Case management, leveraging Rehabilitation Assistants for administrative support;
- Applying clinical expertise to enhance return-to-work outcomes;
- Developing injury prevention and workplace education programs for employers and employees;
- Collaborating with injured workers, medical professionals, and allied health experts;
- Navigating various schemes, including workers' compensation, Comcare, and employer-funded initiatives;
To succeed in this role, you will require:
- Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy registration with AHPRA;
- Experience in Occupational Rehabilitation, preferably with a background in case management;
- Excellent communication skills, empathy, and compassion;
- Strong time management and organizational abilities;
- A current NSW Driver's License and access to a reliable vehicle.
