We are currently seeking a part-time Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) Officer to join our team.

About this Role

The successful candidate will drive DEI initiatives at Tennis Australia, playing a key role in implementing our DEI Operational Plan. They will be responsible for supporting the development and delivery of inclusion strategy, programs, and events across WA, particularly for players with intellectual impairments, Blind/Low Vision, and Deaf/Hard of hearing.

Key Responsibilities:

- Supporting the implementation of our DEI operational plan

- Collaborating with the DEI Lead to plan, coordinate, and execute DEI-focused events, workshops, and training sessions

- Assisting in gathering, analyzing, and reporting data related to DEI initiatives

- Contributing to the development of DEI communications and outreach materials

About You

To succeed in this role, you will need:

- A strong passion for promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion within a sports environment

- Ability to take initiative, work creatively, set priorities, plan work programs, and meet strict deadlines

- Demonstrated resilience under pressure, with a high level of self-awareness to navigate dynamic environments

- Exceptional relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders

- A current First Aid Certificate and Driver's License

- Hold or be willing to obtain a current Police Check and Working with Children Check
