Job Opportunity: Learning Support Coordinator
We are seeking an experienced and skilled individual to fill the role of Learning Support Coordinator. This position will be responsible for providing dedicated on-campus student support, including supervised and guided self-access.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in education and training, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. They will be able to work effectively with students, trainers, and academic management teams to deliver exceptional support and services.
This is a full-time position operating on campus, Monday to Friday. The ideal candidate will have a high level of emotional intelligence, respect, and commitment to teamwork, as well as the ability to lead, supervise, coach, and mentor employees.
About the Role:
- Supporting students at risk through the management of our Academic Intervention Strategy
- Running Academic Progress meetings for students
- Following up key student concerns
- Reviewing student support plans and documentation
- Providing ad-hoc student support as required
- Managing student support sessions during term break
- Conducting Quality Assurance checks on attendance, assessments, and more
- Completing nationally aligned Assessment Essentials content for a range of qualifications
- Driving completion rate growth in our students through contacting, booking, and supporting them through to qualification completion
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment and/or TAE50122 Diploma of Vocational Education and Training
- Post-graduate qualification in Business, Education, or Management
