We are seeking a dedicated and customer-focused individual to join our Indigenous Customer Assistance Line (ICAL) team as an Indigenous Banking Specialist. This role is a unique opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of Indigenous Australians by providing them with access to inclusive banking services.
As an Indigenous Banking Specialist, you will be responsible for building and maintaining positive relationships with Indigenous customers and communities, ensuring they have access to the Bank's wide range of products and services. You will work closely with stakeholders, including Community and Government Services, to support the bigger picture of assisting Indigenous customers with their everyday banking.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver outstanding customer service to Indigenous customers, answering their questions and promoting self-service options.
- Identify issues and service gaps, working with stakeholders to address these and improve the overall customer experience.
- Conduct presentations and liaise with internal stakeholders to support the ICAL team's goals and objectives.
- Build rapport quickly with customers, taking their enquiries from start to finish and providing a seamless experience.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have highly developed written and verbal communication skills, as well as demonstrated customer and community engagement skills. You will also need to be able to work in collaboration with communities, stakeholders, and other government and non-government agencies, interacting, engaging, and persuading different people across community.
