Job Summary

CQUniversity is seeking a dynamic and experienced Coordinator to lead a team of motivated Work Integrated Learning Officers. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing efficient systems and processes to manage student placements, ensuring that all activities meet relevant policies, procedures, accreditation, and audit requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement efficient systems and processes to manage student placements
  • Establish strong industry relationships to secure placements for students
  • Oversee the implementation and management of the work integrated learning management system
  • Analyse requirements and make recommendations to management regarding improved business processes
  • Supervise a team of Work Integrated Learning Officers

Requirements

  • A degree with at least four years subsequent relevant experience and management expertise
  • Understanding of work placement requirements within higher education and experience developing relationships with external industry partners and sourcing placements
  • Proven detailed knowledge of business support software, including work processing, spreadsheeting, information management systems, and email
  • Demonstrated experience supervising teams, building relationships with stakeholders, and collaborating effectively with others
  • Proven communication skills with the ability to liaise and negotiate with external stakeholders
