**About the Role**

This position is ideal for a hands-on leader who can grow our retail business and optimise the buying experience.

The successful candidate will have a caring and energetic personality, be a true team player, and work autonomously while thinking on their feet.

We are looking for someone with strong leadership qualities and experience managing and developing sales teams to continue servicing our loyal customer base.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the in-store sales team and maximise sales opportunities and customer service.
  • Liaise with the service and technical team.
  • Be the first point of contact for sales representatives.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and improve the margins and sales mix to drive profits.
  • Ensure consistent appearance and that policies and procedures are followed by the team.
  • Assist in planning, developing, and implementing new initiatives and projects.
  • Work closely with marketing regarding signage, displays, e-commerce, and visual merchandising standards.

Requirements:

  • Experience managing a medium-sized team in a fast-paced environment.
  • The ability to inspire a team and motivate them to achieve superior customer service standards.
  • Proven ability in driving sales and achieving targets.
  • Prior experience in the pool or trade industry is advantageous but not essential.
