Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Automation Specialist to join our team.

The successful candidate will focus on the technical implementation of broadcast graphics, ensuring seamless integration with our newsroom systems.

This role involves designing and developing solutions that automate workflows, building graphics templates, and maintaining documentation for efficiency and consistency across all platforms.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Developing broadcast graphics templates for various applications, including video wall, full frame, lower third, tickers, and touchscreen graphics.
  • Collaborating with Editorial and Operational teams to ensure the creation of newsroom rundowns meets their requirements.
  • Reviewing and responding to automation help desk tickets, troubleshooting technical issues.
  • Maintaining backups of broadcast graphics databases and purging outdated database items.
  • Providing training and support for staff on automation and newsroom graphics systems.
Requirements:

  • Strong understanding of automation principles and practices.
