Graduate Sustainability Consultant\

This role presents a unique opportunity for a motivated graduate to embark on a career in sustainable design and the built environment. The targeted start date is flexible, allowing for adaptation to individual needs.

You will join a multidisciplinary team responsible for designing cutting-edge construction projects across Australia and worldwide. Under the guidance of experienced staff, you will develop your knowledge and skills, assisting in analyzing, reporting, modeling, and documenting sustainable design projects.

\

Responsibilities will include:

\
  • Performing sustainability design analysis, microclimate analysis, computational simulation (such as energy and daylight modeling)\
  • Managing green building certification\
  • Developing strategies for water conservation and reducing upfront emissions\
  • Undertaking energy audits and related duties\
  • Working across Education, Commercial, Healthcare, Retail, and Residential sectors\
  • Assuming greater levels of responsibility and autonomy over time as professional skills are developed
\

Requirements for this position include:

\
  • Educated to degree level in Engineering, the Built Environment, or a related area\
  • Experience (academic or professional) with relevant skills; strong communication and initiative in collaborative, client-focused settings\
  • Ideal knowledge of ESD rating tools (Green Star, NABERS, LBC, etc.) and passion for creative design\
  • Experience with energy modeling software and parametric modeling software (Grasshopper/Rhino/Dynamo) is positive but not essential
