Job Overview

This is a senior role that requires expertise in ventilation systems design, optimization, and monitoring. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the development of underground ventilation systems for infrastructure and renewable energy projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and optimize ventilation systems to ensure efficient airflow and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct thermal load assessments and troubleshoot ventilation issues to minimize project delays.
  • Provide technical assistance during excavation, installation, and commissioning phases.
  • Lead and mentor small engineering teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Represent the team in meetings with stakeholders and contribute to integrated project solutions.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A minimum of 8 years of experience as a Ventilation Engineer, with at least 3 years in Australia.
  • Proven track record in ventilation system design, optimization, and troubleshooting.
  • Strong knowledge of Australian OHS compliance and ability to resolve ventilation-related issues.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills to guide small engineering teams and coordinate with multidisciplinary groups.
  • Proficiency with ventilation simulation and thermal analysis software.
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Mining, or Environmental Engineering.
