Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled LTE/5G RAN Engineer to join our team at Launch Recruitment. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for lab testing, deployment, integration, and troubleshooting of LTE and 5G Radio Access Networks (RAN), with a strong focus on Nokia RAN Portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct lab testing using device log tools (e.g., XCAL) and Nokia-specific tools to validate RAN configurations.
  • Provide expert-level technical support for complex RAN-related issues, troubleshoot and resolve network faults, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal network performance.
  • Execute the deployment of 4G/5G RAN technologies, including eNodeB/gNodeB configuration, integration, and troubleshooting.
  • Collaborate closely with customers to understand their network requirements, provide technical guidance, and ensure high-quality service delivery throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Coordinate and execute software upgrades on RAN nodes, ensuring compatibility and minimal impact on network performance.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of RAN configurations, upgrades, and issues, ensuring all information is up-to-date and accessible to relevant stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications or a related field.
  • Minimum of 4-6 years of experience as a RAN Engineer, preferably with expertise in Nokia RAN solutions.
  • Strong understanding of LTE and 5G NR protocols call flows, as well as IP & Transport.
  • Hands-on experience with Nokia RAN products such as AirScale, MantaRay NM, UTF, and DCAP.
