About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maritime Warfare Training Specialist to join our team at Serco. As a key member of our training faculty, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality simulator-based training to Royal Australian Navy officers.

With a strong background in maritime warfare and a proven track record of delivering training programs, you will work closely with our Senior Maritime Warfare Instructor and RAN staff to develop and deliver training scenarios that meet the evolving needs of the RAN.

As a Simulator-Based Training Expert, you will be responsible for operating the simulator and providing realistic scenario-based training to RAN officers. You will also have the opportunity to gain civilian qualifications in Training and Assessment through our comprehensive training program.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality simulator-based training to RAN officers
  • Work closely with Senior Maritime Warfare Instructor and RAN staff to develop and deliver training scenarios
  • Operate the simulator and provide realistic scenario-based training
  • Gain civilian qualifications in Training and Assessment through our comprehensive training program

Requirements:

  • Proven military experience in maritime warfare
  • Strong background in training and assessment
  • Ability to work closely with RAN staff and other stakeholders
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
