
Therapy Support Specialist

As an Allied Health Assistant, you will be working in a dynamic environment to provide high-quality care services to our elderly consumers.
This role involves working closely with our team of qualified professionals to deliver therapy programs and promote the independence and well-being of our customers.
The successful applicant will have excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities- Work under the guidance of our highly qualified Allied Health professionals to carry out duties that complement the therapy program of a consumer.
- Carry out face-to-face and non face-to-face tasks that bring life-changing experiences to participants.
- Work with consumers in their home or community environment.
- Play a critical part of the service delivery between the consumer and the therapist.
Requirements
- Certificate III or IV in Allied Health Assistance.
- Demonstrated ability to follow instruction and respect scope of practice boundaries.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Understanding of the role of an Allied Health Assistant within a multi-disciplinary team.
- Excellent customer-service and communication skills (written and verbal).
- Demonstrated ability to prioritise workload, meet deadlines, manage time effectively and complete activities.
- Demonstrated computer literacy skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office and email applications.
- Current NSW driver's license and willingness to drive for work purposes.
- Own reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance.
- Yearly Flu Vaccination.
