Child Safety Specialist

This role involves delivering trauma-informed therapy and care coordination to families facing child protection concerns. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to promote child safety, family preservation, and support the recovery of vulnerable children.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Child Safety Specialist to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled professional to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver evidence-based therapy sessions to support families in recovery from trauma.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement effective care plans.
  • Engage with Aboriginal families and communities respectfully and in line with Closing the Gap commitments.

Requirements
  • Must hold Level 3 tertiary qualifications and relevant experience in Social Work, Psychology, or Clinical Psychology.
  • Eligibility to drive in NSW and willingness and ability to travel for work purposes.
