Senior Manager Role in CTC Risk Management

The position of Senior Manager in Commodities, Trade and Carbon (CTC) Risk Management is a pivotal role within our organization. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for overseeing the risk management of IB&M clients within the Commodity Trading and Carbon portfolios.

Key responsibilities include managing a portfolio of clients with significant commodities footprint, leading the Carbon lending portfolio, performing or overseeing annual reviews, limit increase requests, on-boarding, client due diligence, and contributions to committees or other forums.

Additionally, you will be involved in product development and governance through a risk lens for CTC products. Your expertise will be required to advise senior credit risk decision-makers on transactional or portfolio risk concerns and provide recommendations to ensure that credit risks are identified, managed, measured, monitored, and properly reported.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Extensive experience in credit risk, assessing new transactions and portfolio management, preferably in a Line 2 function having exercised a meaningful personal approval authority.
  • Strong working knowledge of Trade Finance products including structured trade products.
  • Advanced understanding of derivative and commodity related products, commodity markets and related industry knowledge.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and an ability to deal with a range of internal and external senior stakeholders.
  • Comfortable with managing multiple priorities and deadlines with strong attention to detail and good analytics skills.
