Job Title: Director of Transportation Program Management

About the Role:

This is a leadership position that drives the strategy for and delivery of Program Management services to clients across various industries.

The successful candidate will provide vision and direction for strategic planning and development of PM initiatives, implement Program Management quality control, and coordinate and grow Program Management staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive growth in Program Management services through strategic planning and initiative development
  • Implement and refine HDR's Program Management processes and systems
  • Coordinate staffing on relevant projects/programs within the Transportation Business Group
  • Provide oversight on large programs, including acting as lead or principal in charge when required
  • Assist and support strategic and tactical pursuits for large programs
  • Serve as the Program Management Business Class Director; develop and mentor staff in the Program Management Business Class and related fields

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management/Science, or equivalent
  • 20+ years of experience with a strong background in leading transportation projects
  • Proven experience as a Program Manager on large delivery programs
  • Experience leading and managing PM staff; comfortable with substantial travel
