We are seeking an experienced Plant Mechanic to join our team. As a Plant Mechanic, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing a range of plant machinery, ensuring that all work is conducted to a high level with a safety-conscious mindset.
The ideal candidate will have a Certificate III in Mobile Plant Technology or equivalent, along with experience working with Caterpillar equipment. You will also need to possess excellent diagnostic and repair skills, as well as the ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders to ensure deliveries are made on time and to customer standard.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair plant machinery to a high standard
- Conduct preventative maintenance and inspections to meet Caterpillar standards
- Provide technical support to customers and colleagues
- Work autonomously in the field and in a team
Requirements:
- Certificate III in Mobile Plant Technology or equivalent
- Experience working with Caterpillar equipment
- Excellent diagnostic and repair skills
- Ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
